Ray M. Witt
Managing Member and CEO of R.Witt & Company, LLC

As Managing Member and founder of R. Witt & Company, LLC, a domestic & international strategy and general business management boutique consulting firm whose mission is to help corporations and individuals create and sustain competitive advantage, Ray Witt has respectfully established himself in the financial community as a professional in the areas of business and personal finance. Throughout his business practices, Ray has built a reputation as an ethical visionary leader who applies integrity and dedication to the representation of his clients and execution of his practices.

Ray received his undergraduate education at the University of San Diego focusing on Legal Communications with an emphasis in Economics. While attending USD, Ray played Division 1 basketball and established relationships within the athletic community that would prove valuable later in his financial career. Ray continued his education at Howard University, in Washington D.C.

Ray's career in finance began in 1994 working as a sales associate trainee at an investment-banking firm in Maryland. In 1996 Ray relocated to New York and began working at First Providence Financial Group as an investment banker where he managed a sales team, obtained his Series 62 license and established himself in all aspects of investment banking. While enjoying a successful career at First Providence, Ray built an international client base of savvy investors in South Africa, New Zealand and Great Britain with net worth's above 20 million. Drawing from his relationships and resources from his college athletic background, Ray secured a strong client base of professional athletes and provided them with financial services placing emphasis on managing their assets.

In 1998, Ray developed an investment strategy surrounding Vivid Technologies, Inc. (Ticker: VVID). Vivid Technologies develops, manufactures and markets automated inspection systems which detect plastic and other explosives in airline baggage by analyzing the physical characteristics of each item.

The investment strategy that Ray developed involved the accumulation of the company (VVID) shares at $3.00 per share. Within the first two quarters the stock price increased as high as $16.50 per share, which resulted in an eventual buyout of the entire company orchestrated by PerkinElmer, Inc. The investment strategy from inception was executed in approximately six months and the company experienced an estimated 900% rate of increase. The success of a deal of this magnitude was the catalyst that inspired Ray to go into business for himself.

One of Ray's proudest personal accomplishments thus far, was serving as Chairman of the Board of the Sweet Enuff Youth Diabetes Foundation for which he recently ended his term. The Sweet Enuff Youth Diabetes Foundation is a grass root, non-profit organization that provides ongoing education, outreach and life-enhancing activities for children living with juvenile diabetes. As chairman, Ray was responsible for overseeing the appointed board of directors and creating strong ties with participating corporations who provided revenue to support the organization. "My main objective as chairman, was to establish the Sweet Enuff organization as a pillar of hope and life support for children and families living with juvenile diabetes," said Witt. "I have an endearing, heartfelt passion for working with children and it is my belief that children are God's most precious gift."

In addition to the R. Witt & Company, LLC, Ray also serves as CEO and General Manager for RainMaker Management Consultants. RainMaker Management Consultants provides media relations and financial services to athletes and talent by securing endorsements, sponsorship opportunities and personal appearances for promotional and media events. Planning the client's post-career future is a unique and specialized service that RainMaker Management Consultants also provides.
As Ray Witt continues to distinguish himself as a dynamic leader in the financial community, he is dedicated to establishing R. Witt & Company, LLC as one of the financial industry leaders and to providing his clients with savvy financial strategies that no one can match.
